MINNEAPOLIS — A triple bill of big country stars are on their way to Minneapolis.
George Strait will headline the show at U.S. Bank Stadium on Aug. 22, backed up by powerhouses Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town.
The three acts were last together for a sold-out show at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans in 2018.
Tickts will be available Friday, Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. on ticketmaster.com
Strait is also returning to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas Aug. 28-29, with St. Paul's own Caitlyn Smith opening.
George Strait has only played for limited engagements, like his "Strait to Vegas" shows, since his "Cowboy Rides Away Tour" in 2014. His last Vegas run in December was sold out.
Strait has had 60 singles top the charts during his decades-long career, along with 33 platinum or multi-platinum albums. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2006.
