ST PAUL, Minn. — A child was injured after shots were fired into a home Saturday night in St. Paul.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, shots were fired into a home on the 1400 block of Case Avenue East at around 11 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a 9-year-old boy who had been hit in the ankle, possibly by shrapnel from the shots. The boy was transported to Regions Hospital and then released.
Police say they're still searching for who is responsible for firing the shots as well as the circumstances surrounding it.
