Police seaching for theft victim with initials 'AEM' and investigating burglaries in Edina

While investigating a series of underground garage burglaries, investigators recovered tools that had been stolen from a person with those initials.

EDINA, Minn — The Edina Police Department, along with other law enforcement agencies, is investigating a series of underground garage burglaries and thefts. During the investigation, police officers discovered tools, other property — and a clue.

Edina investigators are now trying to locate a victim with the initials of "AEM," who had the tools stolen. 

The tools are believed to have been stolen between October 2023 and Jan. 5, 2024.

Edina Police released no further details.
