3 dogs dead, firefighter treated for smoke inhalation after northern Minnesota fire

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Minn. — Three dogs died and a firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire Tuesday evening in northern Minnesota.

Crews were called to a fire just after 7 p.m. on the 9200 block of Range Line Road in Morcom Township in St. Louis County. When firefighters arrived, they found a fully engulfed trailer house. Three dogs died and a firefighter responding to the blaze was treated for smoke inhalation.

Authorities say the fire doesn't appear to be a criminal act, but it remains under investigation.
