Secondhand Hounds partners with Women's Advocates ahead of Give to the Max Day

The organizations are among those appealing to the generosity of donors on Thursday.

Two Minnesota nonprofit organizations are teaming up to help people -- and pets -- in their time of greatest need.

Secondhand Hounds, soon to be renamed The Bond Between, has partnered with Women's Advocates to provide foster care for animals of victim-survivors of domestic abuse and violence.

"Both organizations believe that collaboration is essential to providing holistic community care to those who need it most," the organizations said in a joint statement.

The two organizations are also welcoming the generosity of donors on Thursday's Give to the Max Day. Find links to support both groups below:
