Quiñones, 30, appeared to livestream his chase by officers, after police said he failed to stop for a red light in Edina and refused to pull over. Quiñones was shot after stopping his car in Richfield. A city of Edina spokesperson said Quiñones "confronted officers with a knife."

A Hennepin County Medical Examiner's report said Quiñones died from multiple gunshot wounds.

None of the officers were wearing body cameras, but both departments had squad car dash cams in operation.
