ST PAUL, Minn. — Just days after Saint Paul Public Library brought eager readers its card displaying the popular laser loon state flag design submission, library officials said they're now fresh out.

A representative told KARE 11 on Friday that more are being ordered after they ran out "due to the enthusiastic demand."

"... the Library is printing one more run of cards and cover-all stickers for Saint Paul residents. We anticipate these cards and stickers will be available at all Saint Paul libraries by the end of February," said Stacy Opitz, marketing and communications manager for the library system.

Once the free, limited edition library card is available again, Opitz said the news will be announced via its website and social media platforms. Any St. Paul residents interested in snagging one from the new batch will be able to visit any of St. Paul's 13 library locations with their photo ID and proof of address.

Meantime, library merch — including shirts, totes and stickers with the loon design — are still available via The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library.
