After a years-long hiatus, ValleyScare is coming back this fall

Starting in September, this stand-alone terror will thrill and chill the Twin Cities.

SHAKOPEE, Minn. — We know you've missed it... ValleyScare is coming back this Halloween!

And the scares are going to be more intense than ever.

Starting in September, the Shakopee theme park offers six immersive haunted mazes (three are brand new!), three redesigned frightening scare zones, and all the eerie entertainment and Halloween-themed food and drinks you can handle.

“We heard you loud and clear, and I am excited to welcome back our talented team of monsters to bring the scares back to our park for the Halloween season,” Raul Rehnborg, vice president and general manager for Valleyfair, enthused. “The return of ValleyScare adds an incredible amount of value to our Gold Season Pass. We can’t wait for you to eagerly plunge into all the frighteningly fun, thrill-filled festivities.”

Tricks and Treats returns this fall as well, for those seeking a more family-friendly experience.

This year, the Valley Scare experience will require a separate ticket, as it will be a stand-alone event. Admission for the spooky fun will be included with the purchase of a Gold Season pass.

ValleyScare will operate on select Fridays and Saturdays from Sept. 21 through Oct. 26, 2024.
