MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Timberwolves are honoring the unique unity of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul by debuting this season's version of the NBA "City Edition" jersey as the "Cities Edition."
The powder blue and white jerseys feature the Minneapolis-St. Paul abbreviation "MSP" on the front, and a special "The Cities" logo on the waistbands of the matching shorts.
A post on the team's website describes the jerseys as "celebrat(ing) the people, places, art, food, music, and culture that makes the Twin Cities the Twin Cities. This uniform is for us, the spirit of MSP, and the authentic Minnesota heritage we share."
All 30 NBA teams will wear their own City Edition jerseys at select games this season. The jerseys and related gear will also be available for fans to purchase.
