MINNESOTA, USA — Flurries and light snow showers move thru central Minnesota early this morning and moving out late this morning.
The Gophers play Penn State this afternoon at the bank with mainly cloudy skies and seasonal temperatures.
Temperatures will remain seasonal throughout the weekend as we enjoy an overall quiet forecast. Expect more clouds than sun over the next couple of days with little chance of precipitation through Sunday.
There will be peeks of sunshine Saturday afternoon and we may a glimpse of it again on Sunday.
Anyone headed to Wisconsin for the deer season opener can plan on a mostly cloudy sky with a bit more sun to the north. Temperatures will be seasonal, ranging from the upper 30s to the lower 40s both Saturday and Sunday. Winds will be light from the west on Saturday and light from the east on Sunday.
We'll find ourselves under gray skies again for Sunday with mild temperatures and light winds. In the late evening hours there will be a few scattered showers developing in the east and pushing into Wisconsin. Weather looks mild and partly cloudy for the Vikings game at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
There will be a few weak disturbances moving through our atmosphere next week that could bring us some light snow on Monday followed by a couple chances of flurries in the middle of the week. Temperatures will be trending just below freezing for much of the week until the mercury plummets on Black Friday.
There is a chance of flurries on Wednesday and Thanksgiving. Right now, we're not looking at anything that would impact travel. That being said, long-range forecast models are indicating that even colder air arrives as we wrap up November. Ski resorts and ice anglers should be getting excited!
