MINNESOTA, USA — The winds will settle down this evening while our sky remains clear, but clouds will be increasing on Monday ahead of our next round of rain.
Monday will be our final day of warm temperatures this week before we watch the mercury drop steadily through Wednesday.
Clouds will be on the increase through the morning hours followed by increasing winds during the afternoon. Showers are expected to move in from the south with the heaviest rainfall late in the evening.
Rainfall totals are expected to exceed 0.75" across the region with the possibility of some neighborhoods exceeding one inch of rain.
There will be another chance of rain and snow showers in western Minnesota on Wednesday; we could see some flakes mixing in with light rain around the Twin Cities. Our weather pattern starts to dry out on Thursday as low pressure exits to our east.
The chance of precipitation around the Twin Cities is expected to drop off significantly for Wednesday when we could see snow mixing in with rain showers.
Our weather pattern will continue to dry out heading into the weekend, unfortunately it doesn't look like temperatures will rebound.
