WEATHER: Clouds increase overnight, rain moves in Wednesday

Skies clearing out Thursday with warmer air for the end of the week

MINNESOTA, USA — Temperatures will end up a little above average this afternoon, but a southeast wind will keep it feeling chilly throughout the day.

Those southeast winds will push the mercury into the upper half of the 40s with a chance of seeing a low 50 in western Minnesota.

Our next cold front will move through the area on Wednesday bringing clouds and showers with it. The heavier rainfall is expected in the western half of Minnesota.

Temperatures will rebound following Wednesday's showers leading into a dry and mild end to the work week.  Areas west and north of the Twin Cities will experience a low this weekend, which will give us more clouds, cooler temperatures and a stray shower or two this weekend.
