WEATHER: Hot, sunny weekend weather

September will remain hot & dry, but much cooler temperatures arrive for the start of October

MINNESOTA, USA — Temperatures will be trending well above average over the next couple of days with temperatures hitting the low to mid 80s around the Twin Cities under blue skies. Dew points will be trending in the low to mid 50s, so it will be a relatively comfortable weekend as well.

A cold front sliding across the region early Tuesday will give us a significant cool down for the start of October. Even with a strong cold front next week, the weather pattern is expected to remain dry leading to the driest September in the Twin Cities on record.
