One killed in north Minneapolis shooting

MINNEAPOLIS — A man is dead following a shooting Monday evening in north Minneapolis.

Minneapolis Police were called to the 3300 block of Dupont Avenue North just before 5 p.m. on reports of a shooting and a ShotSpotter activation. When officers arrived, police say they found a man with at least one gunshot wound. The man was transported to North Memorial where he later died.

On Tuesday, the victim was identified as 20-year-old Antonio Harper, of Minneapolis. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner ruled Harper died from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police say no arrests have been made.
