ST PAUL, Minn. — St. Paul Police are investigating after a woman was found dead inside her downtown apartment Friday morning.
Authorities were called to an apartment building on the 300 block of Cedar Street for a welfare check on a woman living in the building. When St. Paul Fire medics arrived they found the woman with signs of trauma on her body. Police were called and officers secured the scene.
Officials have not released a cause of death, but they say they are investigating the death as suspicious.
