Karpenko guides Minnehaha Academy swimming as one man team

Andrew Karpenko is the fastest swimmer for the Redhawks - and he's also the slowest. Last year, he finished 19th at state as a team.

MINNEAPOLIS —

There's no "I" in team except on this team.

Minnehaha Academy's Andrew Karpenko leads the Redhawks - all by himself. He's a one man team.

Karpenko doesn't practice alone though. He swims with the Breck/Blake team.

Last year, the senior broke two records in the state meet and Minnehaha Acadmey finished 19th overall.

The state meet this season will happen on February 27-29 on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
