MINNEAPOLIS — A man died at the hospital after being shot Monday morning in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis Police say the shooting happened just before 9:30 a.m. on the 1900 block of Chicago Avenue South. When officers arrived, they found a man in a surface parking lot who had been shot. The man was transported to Hennepin Healthcare where he later died. On Tuesday, officials identified the victim as 31-year-old Ricardo Samuel Pena Martinez of Minneapolis.
No arrests have been made, but investigators say they don't believe it was a random shooting.
